For practitioners of Acem Meditation
If you have already learnt Acem Meditation, you may consider participating in a retreat. Many retreats also offer lessons for beginners.
A retreat includes long meditations in ideal surroundings, in-depth guidance, talks and dicussions on the psychology of meditation, and opportunities to meet other meditators in scenic and quiet natural surroundings. During most retreats, you may come when you like, and stay as long as you like.
Longer meditations, combined with guidance from experienced instructors in Acem, provide a possibility to intensify the effects of Acem Meditation. You will be able to experience more directly the relationship between meditation and deep level personal growth. Guidance in English, and simultaneous translation to English of the lectures, will be offered.
Acem's international retreat centre at

Acem also arranges retreats in several other locations in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, England, the Netherlands, India, and Taiwan.
If you have learnt Acem Meditation, participating in a Second Level or a Third Level course will increase your understanding of the meditation process and enhance the effects of meditation. Such courses are arranged on an evening basis (or, sometimes, as a weekend course) in several countries. Contact your local Acem centre for more information. (Note that in some countries, Second Level is called "M1", while Third Level is called "M2".)
