Beginner's courses in Acem Meditation

At the beginner's course, you learn how to use Acem Meditation to achieve deep relaxation, renewed energy, better sleep, and a variety of health effects. You also lay the foundation for a fascinating process of personality development and self-understanding.

You can't learn Acem Meditation from the Internet, a CD, or a book. Only personal instruction and systematic guidance ensure that you learn the technique properly. Group discussions help you to overcome typical beginner's problems and to establish meditation habits. All instructors have been through several years of training.

The psychology of meditation developed in Acem enrich your personal experience with an understanding of the meditative process. It sometimes helps you identify opportunities for growth where you least expected them.

Course formats vary, the most common ones being:
  1. Evening courses - one evening a week for up to seven weeks
  2. Weekend courses - one or two weekends
  3. Retreats lasting up to one week - usually arranged at one of Acem´s retreat centres or in other scenic areas.

Beginner's courses in English are given in Great Britain, the United States, Latvia, South Africa, India, Gambia, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. In Norway, beginner's courses in German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Finnish, Russian and Mandarin Chinese may also be arranged.
